Tax season is over for most.  If you filed for an extension your return is due October 15, 2009.

President Obama enacted a stimulus package for 2009.  There is a new credit for taxpayers who work.  The "Making Work Pay" credit is a refundable credit of 6.2% of earned income up to $400 or $800 if married filing a joint return.

IRS has adjusted the amount of federal income tax withheld by employers.  Workers should notice a few more dollars in take home pay each payday.

Strapped for cash?  Please don't pay outrageous fees for a loan against your refund!  I will hold your check for tax preparation fees until your refund has been directly deposited into your account.

Whether you prepare your own return or use a professional, I am happy to answer any questions you may have during the tax season and throughout the year.
